Three-time winners of the Montreal Choral Festival, the choir has also placed in the semi-finals (2002) and quarter-finals (2004, 2008) of the chamber choir category of the CBC National Radio Competition for Amateur Choirs.
In 2010 and again in 2015, the group was awarded second place in the chamber choir category of the National Competition for Canadian Amateur Choirs.
The Sainte-Anne Singers have made numerous appearances at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, the Festival de musique religieuse and the Mondial Choral Loto-Québec. They have also performed twice at Podium, Canada’s prestigious national choral conference.
The spring of 2012 marked the choir’s 25th anniversary. A new work, “Les neiges de Nelligan”, was commissioned from composer Pierre Gallant.
