Whether as choir anthems, congregational singing, guitars in Sunday School, organ preludes, coffee house blues, concerts or sing-alongs, we love to sing, play, listen and enjoy.
Pierre came to Union in 2010 after a 25 year career at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto as teacher, composer, performer and arranger. He has composed commissioned works which have been performed around the world. Memorable projects include the recent cycle of songs “Coeur d’Hiver” based on the poms of Emile Nelligan. Most recently, “Les Neiges de Nelligan’, an 8 part acappella vocal piece commissioned the Saint Anne Singers for their 2tth anniversary, premiered in May 2012. Union is very fortunate to have a man of his talent, enthusiasm and energy! He not only directs Union’s choir, he collaborates with Spare Parts, is the keyboardist of the Latin-jass band “Los Mapaches” and is a producer in Union’s Road Show Productions.
